Limited Collection Prints - Stacked No. 2A
Conflicts of Interest [ I ] is a limited collection of prints comprised of small "vignettes" of shapes and colors that appear similar yet are curiously distinctive. Each piece can stand on its own or in pairs or groups. The art is created entirely digitally and printed on heavyweight archival paper using giclee digital printing. Each piece is stamped for authenticity by the artist on the front, as well as numbered / dated on the back. Conflicts of Interest plays on the various contrasts in each piece. Where there is some symmetry, there is also imbalance. Where there is a connected line, then there is a disconnection. Optical movement is often created through lines and shapes extending into the border. Essentially, through this work, there is an aim to create a "beautiful discomfort” when looking at imperfection.
